Women are Gifted

Sometimes after giving 100%, it still doesn’t feel like you made a difference. Do you ever feel this way? I struggle with this all the time. This Helen Keller quote gave me comfort and motivation today: “When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another.”

Do your best Helen Keller

I took photos of beautiful white and pink blossoms this morning, and couldn’t help but think about how short of a time we get to enjoy these flowers each year. Kind of like our lives. Life is really short. How can we know we are fulfilling our purpose on this earth?

And then I came across this second quote by Marie Curie: “We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost must be attained.”

Gifted Marie Curie

It’s not always clear what gifts we possess or what our life’s purposes are, but we have to first BELIEVE that we are gifted! Our gifts become clearer throughout our lives. Friends and loved ones can help you see what you can’t see about yourself, point out your strengths and help you know which direction to take your life. And then at all costs we must use our gifts to achieve what we’re here to do. What is your life’s purpose?

Here are my outfit details for today:

The $1000 Valentino pumps are so popular right now, but there’s NO way I would ever spend that kind of money on a shoe! So I found some knockoff pink studded pumps that I love! I wore a black Dolman tee, because Dolmans are flattering on every body type and hide lines or bulges. And then of course my go-to jean leggings.
